Vista Center and the Lions Clubs of District 4-C6 present the
Back-to-School
Student Spotlight
September 15, 2021     |     5 - 6 PM

Thank you for joining us for the Back-to-School Student Spotlight – a youth talent show benefiting Vista Center programs and services in San Jose, Santa Cruz and Palo Alto!

Proceeds support Vista's life-changing Youth Programs which help hundreds of youth in our community who are blind or have low vision learn new ways to stay connected, pursue their academic goals, chase their dreams and embrace life through the help of our comprehensive programs and services.
Our goal is to close the employment gap for young people who are blind or visually impaired, which is reportedly up to 50% unemployed, by giving them the skills and techniques they need to thrive in a world designed for sighted individuals.
Vista Center provides specialized training and unique opportunities to ensure our students can lead the life they choose. Our students and families can depend on Vista Center to eliminate barriers to academics, while simultaneously emphasizing the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC).

Beyond academics and essential daily living skills like white cane and assistive device training, Vista Center also offers enriching career development workshops and financial literacy seminars to empower students to live their best life.
